Miss Maria, Owner-Operator, Kinder Time Daycare

Photo Day at the Mission Abby.

Miss Maria - A picture of me would not be complete without my two sidekicks, my daughters Marissa and Miranda. They are regular faces at Kinder Time Daycare and are exceptional helpers. They have grown up with the daycare and offer the children in care assistance and friendship. I have been operating Kinder Time Daycare since May 2004.
My Vision:
To provide a safe, warm, loving and friendly environment for your child where they feel secure and comfortable, to encourage and support parents by providing information and referrals if needed, to guide your child in emotional, intellectual, social and physical growth, allowing them to be self-directed individuals.
Miss Andrea, Caregiver

Miss Andrea - Andrea has been with the daycare since March 2012. She has been an incredible addition to our facility with her kind and loving nature. She has had a great deal of experience with children and is also employed at Hillside Elementary as a lunch time monitor. She has been caring for children in her home for years; as well she is a mother of three children. I am very blessed that she has come here to assist me in caring for the children at Kinder Time.
Winston Junior

Winston has been with us since May 2009. He is an Australian Cattle dog a Blue Healer. Winston has grown up with the daycare and has become a wonderful companion for the kids in care. Whether your child is familiar with animals, in different or frightened, I assure you Winston will win their hearts as he has mine.
My hope when we got Winston was that he would herd the children like sheep when it was time to transition inside. Unfortunately he does not assist me at all. He does, however, run and play with the children.
The biggest concern for me with having the dog was the children in care. I can assure you that he is very good around the children and very protective of them also. We have also litter trained him to poop and pee in a specially built area for him, so there is no worry for your child to be playing in our yard.

Marissa, My First born...

Rissa - as most of the daycare kids call her.
My nineteen year old daughter is a mini me. She enjoys spending time in the daycare and creating fun things for the children to do.
She has taken her Community care / EA course at Riverside College and is an exceptionally responsible young lady so she may also be helping me in times when she is not working for the school board.
Outside of daycare hours Marissa enjoys dance, swimming, scrap booking, hanging out with friends, music, making crafts and doing nails.
Miranda, My baby (but not so wee anymore)...

Randa - as most of the daycare kids call her.
My seventeen year old daughter may not be a mini me but is so dear to me. She also enjoys seeing the kids in care daily and never hesitates to help out around the daycare. The one thing I cherish in her is her ability to get right down and play with the little ones. This girl will always be a child at heart.
She also enjoys and shares a love for a lot of the same interests as her sister like dance, swimming, scrap booking, exercise, animals, music, hanging out with friends, and crafts.
Mark, My Husband and Maintenance man...

Mr. Mark - I know some may think I put the dog before my husband on this site but the list is in order of exposure to your children and the dog is here 24/7. Mark is only here before and after work. He is my go-to for all the maintenance issues around the daycare and for that I am so grateful.
Attending a family daycare is a special experience for the kids and for our family. We watch your children grow up, reminding us of our children at such a wonderful age. Now that our kids are getting older we really cherish the younger years that pass so quickly. The daycare is more than just a family business - it is a long lasting relationship with families.
